Merge PDF

Stack any number of PDFs into one document, arrange the order with the arrows and download. The files are read and joined on your device only.

Private by design: the files are combined by your browser, not by a server. Kemafy never receives or keeps them.
Nothing is uploaded: pdf-lib joins the pages locally and hands you the result.

Three steps, no upload.

  1. Collect the files. Drag in or select every PDF that belongs in the final document.
  2. Set the sequence. Nudge each file up or down until the list reads in the order you want the pages.
  3. Combine. Press the button and a single merged PDF downloads to your device.

The merge is done by pdf-lib, an open-source library that runs entirely inside the browser. Your documents never touch a Kemafy server; close the tab and the only copy is the one you downloaded.

Merge PDF help

Common questions about merging.

01Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere when I merge them?

No. The merge runs inside your browser with the open-source pdf-lib library, so the files never leave your device and Kemafy never sees them.

02How many files can go into one merged PDF?

As many as you like, with a minimum of two. Very large batches are limited only by your device's memory, so a laptop handles more than an older phone.

03Why won't one of my PDFs merge?

It is most likely password-protected or damaged. Open it in a PDF reader, save an unlocked copy, then add that copy to the list and try again.

04Can I change the page order after adding files?

Yes. Use the up and down arrows beside each file to set the sequence; the merged PDF follows the list from top to bottom.

05Does the merge change the quality of my pages?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. Nothing is re-compressed or flattened.
