Church Websites Built Around the Visitor, USA-Wide

Kemafy designs church websites that answer the Saturday-night question — where, when, and will I fit in — then serve members all week with sermons, streams, events and giving. Church sites start at $1,500.

The short answer

What goes into a church website, and what will one cost a US congregation?

Budget $1,500 for a church site that covers service times, staff, directions and a simple giving link; add a sermon library, a live-stream page and campaign giving and the number climbs from there. The pages that get used most are the ones a visitor checks on Saturday night: where you are, when you meet, what to expect, and how to give without downloading anything. Kemafy builds those to open instantly on a phone and to pass ADA accessibility checks, because a congregation spans every age and ability.

Where new visitors decide to show up

Why the sector sets the brief.

Ask a pastor where new families come from and the answer is usually "they looked us up first." A church site does its most important work before anyone walks in: it shows a real congregation, states the service time without making people hunt, and answers what to wear and where to park. After that first visit, the same site becomes a utility — the sermon someone missed while traveling, the small-group signup, the youth calendar, an offering given from a phone in ten seconds. Kemafy builds for that whole arc. Pages stay light so they open on any device, media is organized so a two-year archive is still searchable, giving runs through Stripe, PayPal or text-to-give, and every page meets ADA accessibility guidelines so grandparents and teenagers use it the same way.

Scope

The parts we build most often

  • Watch Live, Catch Up Later

Embed your YouTube or Facebook stream and file every past message by series, speaker and date.

  • Giving in Ten Seconds

Tithes, offerings and building-fund gifts through Stripe, PayPal or text-to-give — recurring or one-time, receipts included.

  • Plan-Your-Visit Page

Service times, parking, kids check-in and what to expect, written for someone who has never been inside a church.

  • Ministry Hubs

Youth, worship, small groups, missions and outreach each get a home page with their own leader and calendar.

  • Events That Sync

A calendar members can add to Google or Apple Calendar in one tap, with signups for retreats and classes.

  • Every Generation Included

ADA-conscious contrast, text sizing and keyboard navigation, on pages that stay fast on an older phone.

Straight answers

What churches & ministries owners ask us.

What should we budget for a church website?

Plan on $1,500 for a site with service times, staff, directions, a plan-your-visit page and a giving link. A sermon archive, live-stream page and campaign giving add to that, and many congregations phase those in over a year or two as the budget allows.

Does the site handle year-end giving statements?

Giving runs through Stripe, PayPal or a text-to-give provider, and each of those keeps a record per donor. Your treasurer can export contribution statements at year end, and recurring gifts are managed by the giver without calling the office.

We already stream on YouTube. Can the site use that?

Yes, and it should. We embed the live player and the archive directly from YouTube or Facebook, so there is nothing new for your media team to learn and no video hosting bill.

Who updates the site after launch?

Nobody from Kemafy needs to be involved. After a training session, a volunteer posts the week's sermon, adds an event or changes a service time from the admin screen in a few minutes.
